Mitashi Launches 'First 4K UHD LED TV Priced Under Rs. 1 Lakh'

Mitashi on Tuesday announced its first 4K resolution (Ultra HD) LED television, and launched it in the Indian market. The 'ultra-slim' television, with model name MiE050v01 4K, comes at a MRP of Rs. 1,09,000, but is being sold at a discounted price of Rs. 99,990 exclusively via an e-commerce website.

The Indian electronics brand claims that its 4K (3840x2160 pixels) LED television is the first in India available under the Rs. 1 lakh price point, and features a limited warranty of 3 years.

The 50-inch Mitashi 4K LED TV is said to have a 40,000:1 contrast ratio, and feature a thin metal bezel around the screen. The 4K LED television features 3xHDMI input ports, and one VGA input. Mitashi also said the MiE050v01 4K has a 176-degree (vertical and horizontal) viewing angle.

"We are proud to release such a high quality product that has everything going for it: 4K resolution, connectivity options, 3-year warranty and a tempting never-before price tag," said Mr. Rakesh Dugar, Chairman & MD, Mitashi Edutainment Pvt Ltd in a statement. "We have been in the flat panel market for some years now, but I feel that now we are in a position to change it. Getting this type of technology is unheard of in this price range. "
