LG has already showcased a range of products including Hub Robot, a personal assistant and smart home gateway, wireless wearable audio products, the PJ9 Bluetooth-enabled levitating speaker, and more ahead of CES 2017 extravaganza. The South Korean has now unveiled its new lineup of audio products including soundbars and new speakers focused for party requirements.
LG's all-new SJ9 soundbar comes with Dolby Atmos technology and sports a sleek design equipped with multiple speakers - including two powerful up firing speakers. The company claims that the Dolby Atmos technology enables the SJ9 to deliver audio in three-dimensional space. The SJ9 also sports "4K Sound", a term that has raised eyebrows across the world and that LG describes as hi-resolution audio compatible with high quality lossless audio files that can recreate the sound recorded in the original studio. The SJ9's Sound Upconverting feature increases the quality of standard audio files to 24bit/192Hz to enhance subtle details and nuances of each track.
Apart from SJ9, LG is also launching the new SJ8 soundbar which is claimed to deliver audio performance in a slim and efficient 38mm profile. The company also claims that its new lineup of soundbars integrate with the company's new range of 2017 TV models.
"With TV Perfect Fit Kit, owners can integrate the SJ8 with certain LG TV sets by replacing the original stand with the SJ8 sound bar," notes LG in a press statement. The SJ8 soundbar comes with several features from the SJ9, including 4K Sound, 4K Pass-Through and the ability to stream content using built-in Chromecast. The company also launched the LG SJ7 which is a 320W Bluetooth-enabled soundbar and sports a split bar design.
LG also announced the LOUDR CJ98 speakers which is said to generate 3500W of sound for a club-like atmosphere. The CJ98 features an array of controls, looping buttons and sharing features. Another new LOUDR speaker is the LOUDR OJ98 which is all-in-one speaker system
Lastly, LG also announced the portable party audio system model FJ7, which can deliver 400W output sound. LG adds that the FJ7 comes with handles and wheels for easier portability.
No pricing have been announced for the new audio products from LG and it can be expected to be revealed at local launch.
