LG, besides launching its G Flex 2 smartphone in India, has also launched a 105-inch 5K Ultra HD (UHD) resolution television set at a price tag of Rs. 59,99,900.
Carrying the model number 105UC9T, the Korean tech firm's first 5K (5120x2160 pixels) panel television set features an IPS display with a CineScope 21:9 aspect ratio. It also features 7.2 channel audio with 150 Watt speakers from Harmon/Kardon.
The 105-inch 5K TV runs on webOS interface. It is worth noting that the firm also featured webOS in the recently announced smartwatch, the LG Watch Urbane LTE. As for the specifications, the LG 105UC9T 5K TV features built-in Wi-Fi support alongside Miracast, Wireless Display, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, HDMI, and USB connectivity. An 8-megapixel Web camera is also included on the 5K television set for video conferencing. Featuring the firm's True 4K Engine Pro pixel resolution upscaler, the LG 105UC9T 5K TV also sports the Direct LED backlight feature.
Some of the other key announcements at the LG Tech Show in New Delhi included the LG 77 4K OLED TV, LG 98 4K ULTRA HD TV and LG Music Flow speakers, but pricing and availability were not detailed.
