"We had about 10,000 3G users in April, which has now grown to be between 30,000 to 35,000," Vodafone India Circle Head (Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh) Ashish Chandra told reporters in Indore.
He added that the company offers 3G services across 91 cities in the circle.
India is divided into 23 telecom circles.
For the three months ended March, Vodafone had 52 million data customers in India, of which 7 million were 3G customers.
Chandra said the company is focussed on growing its data services to tap the huge business opportunity in the region.
He added that Vodafone India has 48.7 lakh customers in the Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circle.
Chandra further said as part of the company's CSR programme, the firm will plant about three lakh tress in the Kanha and Pench tiger reserves.
