Reliance Jio SIM Officially Available for These Smartphones

Reliance Jio SIM is available to anyone with a 4G phone
But not all stores are respecting that offer
But owners of select smartphone can definitely get one

As we reported earlier, you can now walk in to a few Reliance Digital and Xpress Mini stores with any 4G smartphone and walk out with a Reliance Jio SIM. However, as we’d noted in our report, in the absence of an official announcement, not all stores are respecting these offers.

Now, Reliance Jio has announced the extension of its Jio Preview offer to owners of Micromax, Yu, Asus, Panasonic, TCL, and Alcatel 4G smartphones, which means more people can officially get their hands on a Reliance Jio SIM and enjoy 3 months of unlimited calling, data, SMS, and access to Jio services like JioOnDemand.

If you own these smartphones, you can get a Reliance Jio SIM under the same offer that was earlier extended to owners of select Samsung and LG smartphones, as well as buyers of all Lyf-branded smartphones:

Tap on Agree & Get Jio offer
Select your location from the drop down
Read through the steps and click on Next
Offer Code can be viewed on the screen. Note down your offer code.
Check the required documents for submission and visit the nearest Reliance Store.

Reliance Jio - which is currently testing its network - is expected to do a commercial launch of its network in the 'coming months', according to Mukesh Ambani, Reliance Industries Limited Chairman. Ambani is said to have recently met Telecom Secretary JS Deepak to discuss rollout plans for Reliance Jio, which has accused incumbent players of not releasing sufficient interconnection ports during its test run of services.
