State-run telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new broadband offer worth Rs. 1,199. The latest BSNL offer is called BSNL Family Plan and provides mobile Internet data alongside a broadband connection. This Family Plan offers a broadband connection of up to 10Mbps speed and on top of it, user can group three BSNL prepaid connections to get 1GB of data per day for the validity period. Notably, the plan is valid pan-India.

The new BSNL plan is called Rs. 1199 BBG Combo ULD Family and offers a 10Mbps broadband connection. There is a monthly FUP limit of 30GB. Once the FUP is exhausted, users get download speeds of up to 2Mbps for the rest of the month. BSNL made the announcement via its official Twitter handle, and the details are available on its site.

Upon getting the recharge, users can select three BSNL prepaid numbers for which they wish to get the benefits. Each SIM will be eligible for unlimited voice calls including roaming calls and 1GB daily data. Once the data is exhausted, users will get speeds up to 40Kbps. There are no SMS benefits mentioned under this offer. However, BSNL is giving free PRBT (Personalized Ringback Tone).

BSNL has mentioned that one of the SIMs will be eligible to avail a free online TV service. Also, one of the SIMs can access a one-month free subscription of online education for one subject up to class 12.

To recall, BSNL had recently revamped its fibre broadband (FTTH) offerings to take on the upcoming rival Jio Fiber. It had doubled the FUP data for three of its FTTH plans. It has essentially refreshed three fibre broadband plans, worth Rs. 1,045, Rs. 1,395, and Rs. 1,895 to offer more data up to 200GB. Earlier this month, BSNL has also extended its Free Sunday Calls offer for landline and broadband users.
