Airtel has reportedly started to offer bundled Amazon Prime subscription on its lower priced 100Mbps broadband plan. This new revision is showing up for users in select cities inside the Airtel Thanks app. Airtel broadband plan is priced at Rs. 1,099 (including taxes), and earlier this plan did not offer any Amazon Prime subscription benefits. Amazon Prime and Zee5 membership were offered for broadband plans users with speeds above 200Mbps. However, that seems to have changed and the 100Mbps  broadband plan users are also now reportedly getting the Amazon Prime benefit.

This revision is not reflecting on the website yet, nor is it live in our Airtel Thanks app. Airtel clarifies that it is available only in select cities where Airtel Xstream offers the broadband connection through a partnership with Local Cable Operators (LCO). This is the reason why they  aren't publicly mentioned on the site or app. The plan was first spotted by OnlyTech.

Reportedly, the Airtel Rs. 1,099 broadband plan is an LCO broadband plan that bundles the Amazon Prime subscription. Additionally, it offers unlimited calls, 100Mbps speeds, unlimited data, and 30 days validity. It also bundles Airtel Xstream app subscription, which is bundled with base levels plans priced at Rs. 589 and Rs. 943 broadband plan.

The report also says that the Amazon Prime benefit is only offered on these revised plans if purchased on a monthly basis, and it is not listed for semi-annual or annual purchases. This new revised plan hasn't been rolled out broadly and are live for select cities with LCO partnerships. Existing Airtel Xstream Fiber users may have more chances of seeing this in the Airtel Thanks app than potential new customers.

Airtel recently also started offering ‘unlimited high-speed Internet access' on all of its broadband plans after arch-rival Reliance Jio did a huge revamp of its Jio Fiber broadband plans.
