Review based on 1 month of usage.Best things:1. The display is mind-blowing. The colors, contrast and quality are absolutely stunning.2. The phone is incredibly light and weight-balanced for its dimensions.3. Samsung?s One UI 2.1 is its best UI yet. It is so polished and well-laid on top of Android OS. I am loving how well the navigation gestures, screen recorder, one-handed operation and so many other features work. Customization with Good Lock app kicks it up a notch further.4. Fast 25W USB type-C charging. The phone charges fully in about an hour.5. Call quality and speaker volume are good.6. Snappy performance. Hardware and software have been working well together so far.7. Dolby Atmos feature is a blessing. The device is well made for Audio and Video media consumption.8. Cameras (both front and rear) are the best in the industry.9. Loving the Samsung Pay app. I rarely carry my wallet these days.10. I like the customization options around everything that is on the phone (display, AOD, power modes, Bixby routines, notifications, app permissions, etc.). I love to have granular control over how my phone looks and performs.Good things:1. Samsung has been providing monthly updates on this phone, though somewhat delayed. Most of the bugs and issues are being taken care of.2. Physical form factor is likeable. I found this most suitable for my hand (among the 3 of S20 series) and like how it feels. Reduced curved edges mean fewer accidental touches. If you are new to Samsung ecosystem, I would recommend trying out the device in hand before purchasing, by visiting a store, to determine which S20 version you like best.3. Mobile Data, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections are stable. Nothing to complain.4. 120Hz display is a nice feature. Although, I do not find much difference when I turn it on, at least for my eyes.5. Dark mode, when enabled, is consistent across the device and in Samsung applications. More and more applications from Play Store are now supporting dark mode to work in tandem with the device?s display mode.6. Liked the new bunch of ringtones that come pre-installed in the device.7. The USB-C earphones provided with the device in-the-box, work well for calls as well as for media.8. Battery large enough to last a full day with moderate-heavy usage and the superfast charger helps with a quick boost when needed.9. Samsung?s native apps like Notes, Health, Wearable etc. are nice to have.10. RAM management is good but can still be made better.11. The device comes with a plastic soft case and a screen guard already applied. Not so good things:1. The biggest gripe that I have is that we, in India, are stuck with Exynos processor even after all the premium we pay.2. Headphone jack is gone.3. The fingerprint sensor still needs a lot of work. I find mine working only about 80% of the time.4. The device stutters once in a while. I have had screen freezes and delays while switching apps or while typing. I am assuming this is due to software and can be optimized with updates. It happens barely but being a flagship device, it is unacceptable.I am not a gamer, so cannot comment on gaming performance of the phone. All said and done, this is a really good phone, yet, not really worth the current price it is being sold at. I would suggest waiting till its price drops a little or buy during Sale. If you own an S10 series phone, you can easily skip this series. If this review helped you, a thumbs-up would be much appreciated. Thanks.
