The advantage of going ahead is that you can keep up with competitors who might have released products with new features and capabilities since your launch, and you get to create a whole new hype cycle. The downside of course is the backlash from buyers who picked up your earlier product and would feel let down or even betrayed by such rapid forced obsolescence. That's exactly the position OnePlus was in, and from what the company has said, it didn't hesitate at all to launch the OnePlus 5T just five months after the OnePlus 5.

OnePlus 5T Summary

The new OnePlus 5T has launched just a few months after the OnePlus 5, and not a lot is different. It has an 18:9 screen, which is now fashionable, and the secondary rear camera has been changed. Instead of a telephoto lens it now has a sensor that's much more suitable for low-light photography. Overall camera performance isn't bad but could be better. The portrait mode is a bit of a gimmick. Battery life is great and the OxygenOS skin is genuinely useful. Overall, it isn't much of an upgrade if you have a OnePlus 5, but it does keep things fresh.

Got this phone just 5 days back and using it big time. Powerful Battery backup . Excellent Display and features !! Unlock through Face Detection , Finger Print and Numerical !! Couldn't have asked for more. Go for it gang if thinking to buy a solid Smartphone !!!!!!!

Comparable with all the flagships

It's the best handset available in this price range(30k-40k) and it can be compared even with the iPhone X, yeah it is weaker in some of departments than iphoneX but the OnePlus 5T is the best options available with a massive battery backup yet to be compared with it's predecessor OnePlus5 which was the battery king.
