Motorola launched the Moto G8 Power Lite, its latest budget Android smartphone, a month ago in India. It competes directly with popular offerings such as Realme's Narzo 10A (Review) and the Redmi 8 (Review). The highlight features of the new G8 Power Lite include a big battery and display, and the uncluttered Android experience that we've come to expect from Moto devices.

Motorola Moto G8 Power Lite Summary

The Moto G8 Power Lite is quite chunky, with a thickness of 9.2mm, and also a bit heavy at nearly 200g. The entire body is built from plastic, but thanks to the matte finish, it looks good and doesn't attract fingerprints too easily. In a world of disappearing headphone jacks, it's nice to see that the Moto G8 Power Lite still has one.

The display is a big 6.5-inch IPS TFT LCD panel with an HD+ resolution of 720x1600 pixels. This low resolution is not ideal for such a large panel, due to which text and icons don't look very sharp. The fingerprint sensor works well and is quick to unlock the phone when needed.

The clean layout of stock Android 9 Pie is always refreshing to use, but it can feel a little too barebones at times. The Moto G8 Power Lite uses the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC and is available in only one configuration, which has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Motorola has ensured good battery life by fitting the Moto G8 Power Lite with a 5,000mAh battery.

Like most recent phones in the sub-Rs. 10,000 segment, the Moto G8 Power Lite features three rear cameras. These include a primary 16-megapixel sensor with PDAF, a 2-megapixel depth camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The main camera is good in daylight but produces poor quality photos in low light. Priced at Rs. 8,999, the Moto G8 Power Lite offers good amounts of RAM and storage, which not many others do.

Hi All, I was a big FAN as well as LOVER of Motorola Mobile. I used 5-7 Generation of Motorola Mobiles (Motorola Keyboard & Qwerty Keyboard, Moto g, g1, g2, g3, g4, g5 & now g8 Power lite(A Bullshit Mobile Phone "g8 Power Lite I ever used") Since 2007 to Aug 2020 Before purchasing "Moto g8 Power lite" I thought Motorola is only company which give Absolute Performance. But after purchasing "Moto g8 Power Lite" I lost faith my trust from Motorola company. Here are the feedback of "Moto g8 Power Lite", When someone message me, I will get notification of that after 20-30 Minutes, Microphone is always not working, Network is always low. Experienced Reviews Out of 5 Star about Different Performance, Camera- 1 out of 5 Network- 1 out of 5 Microphone- 1 out of 5 Connectivity- 1 out of 5 Display- 1 out of 5 Battery- 5 out of 5 Performance- 1 out of 5 Only Battery is Giving a Positive Performance. All others features are just for show of not for performance.

Good value for money phone, decent display as it has around 200ppi only, and it's 720p resolution. Camera is okay, very poor in low light. Battery is great, screen on time is large. Processor performance is average, definitely not useful for gaming. Great phone to gift to your parents / elderly. Also compare realme Narzo 10A, Samsung M10, (E01 upcoming), Nokia 2.3 with Moto G8 power lite. I found moto good phone overall, atleast till now.
