HTC’s U series marks a fresh start for the Taiwanese smartphone maker in 2017, with a new approach to design and aesthetics. The highlight here is the new ‘liquid surface’ treatment given to the chassis which, according to the company, mimics the surface tension of liquid. The end result is actually quite stunning as we found out in our review of the HTC U Ultra.

HTC U Play Summary

The HTC U Play sports the company’s new "liquid metal" design, which looks absolutely stunning in person. The 5.2-inch full-HD display makes this phone a lot more manageable than the huge U Ultra when you hold it. There's also Gorilla Glass for protection. The U Play features a capacitive home button with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. You can expand this by up to 2TB using the second SIM slot. General performance is good but the budget-level SoC has a tough time keeping up with demanding games. The phone heats up a bit during video recording and gaming . The rear and front 16-megapixel cameras deliver great performance in most conditions. Finally, the 2500mAh battery manages to deliver a full day’s worth of life, despite the small capacity.

Guys dont go for the brand name and model name.U series might be the flagship series of htc but skip this one.For 30k u get a helio p10 which is an outdated processor in which would help ur phone to do nothing but lag.Other stuff like camera etc are also not great.Yes it has a good design but htc is fooling its customers by giving a good design to the customers and putting cheap software inside it.So guys, skip this one get the 1+3t or 1+5 if u can go 3k higher. They are miles better than this so *PLZ DO NOT BUY THIS*
