A California based company that offers Android devices in the Indian market. Swipe says it entered the smartphone market when it was already saturated. The company claimed to have sold 100,000 devices by 2013. It announced that it had secured funding of over $4.9million from Kallari Capital in 2014. Swipe's latest mobile launch is the Slate Pro (2017). The tablet was launched in October 2017. The tablet comes with a 10.10-inch display with a resolution of 1200 pixels by 800 pixels.
The Swipe Slate Pro (2017) is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core it comes with 2GB of RAM. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Swipe Slate Pro (2017) packs a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Swipe Slate Pro (2017) runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery.
The Swipe Slate Pro (2017) is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) tablet that accepts Micro-SIM and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer and Accelerometer.
