The first Windows-based tablet from Xolo comes with a number of launch day offers such as Rs. 200 cashback on rating/reviewing the tablet post purchase; a lucky draw offer, wherein 10 customers get Rs. 1,000 cashback; 50 percent discount on the next purchase of Bluetooth keyboard, and free pre-selected ebooks worth Rs. 1,500.
Flipkart has also introduced an exchange offer on the Xolo Win tablet on the first day of release where customers can exchange old gadgets including smartphones, tablets and even laptops to get up to Rs. 3,000 off on the Xolo tablet. The Xolo Win tablet under the exchange offer is available at Rs. 16,990 on Flipkart.
Notably, the Xolo Win tablet was initially announced at CES and as per the company has been targeted at the youth segment, along with working professionals.
The Xolo Win is powered by Windows 8.1. It features a 10.1-inch LED display with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. The highlight of the Xolo Win tablet is the dual-core 1GHz AMD Temash A4-1200 processor alongside the Radeon HD 8180 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
The Xolo Win tablet sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and also houses a 1-megapixel front-facing HD camera. It comes with 32GB (MMC) inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card; though there is no word on maximum storage capacity. The company claims that the tablet can deliver up to 6 hours of battery life; however, it has not detailed the battery capacity of the tablet.
Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi, Micro-HDMI, and Micro-USB. The Xolo Win does not support 3G connectivity. The tablet sports an aluminium build and houses a Windows home bottom on the front panel. The tablet comes preloaded with apps such as Kindle, Skype, One Drive, and MS Office.
The Xolo Win features a 12mm thick profile, while it weighs 750 grams.
