WishTel launches Ira Comet HD Android tablet at Rs. 9,999

After launching IRA and IRA Thing 2, WishTel has now launched its third budget tablet in the country - IRA Comet HD. This tablet comes with a 10.1-inch TFT capacitive display and runs on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. There is a 1.2 GHz processor on-board along with 1GB RAM. IRA Comet HD carries a price tag of Rs.9,999.

Announcing the launch of IRA Comet HD tablet, Milind Shah, Chief Executive Officer, WishTel said, "With the growth in the tablet market and increasing adoption, it is expected to meet the customers demand to fit into their lifestyle with the use of technology. With the launch of IRA Comet HD, we wish to fulfil consumers demand for innovation and smart technology and aim to offer them an ambitious product at a competitive price. We are extremely proud to use 3D Graphics technology in our large screen device to provide our audience with some really breathtaking experiences."

The other notable features of this tablet are 2.0 megapixel rear camera and VGA front camera, HDMI out and a 5500 mAh battery. It comes with 8 GB internal memory, which can be expanded to up to 32GB.

Wishtel has tied up with various education institutes and is offering course materials for 12 month and 24 months programme of IIT-JEE (Engineering) entrance, Medical AIPMT, study materials for CAT & GMAT entrance exams and school curriculum of CBSE, ICSE syllabus to students at a special subscription cost with the tablet.
