This week belonged to the iPad. It started off with reports suggesting Apple could be in trouble over the 'iPad' trademark in China. It seems Apple bought rights to the name 'iPad' from a company but the courts have called the legality of the sale in question. Apple could face a fine, or in the worst case scenario, be forced to sell its tablet under some other name.

iPad fans had more good news than bad. Reports emerged of Apple's plan to unveil the iPad 3 in the first week of March. With 15.43 million iPads sold last quarter and no credible competition in sight, the iPad 3 is all set to be another blockbuster. We give you the rundown of the 10 likely features in the iPad 3.

The week started with another date in the courts for Google, Facebook and other Internet companies. The companies are facing criminal and civil action in two different lawsuits. Read 10 facts about Google and Facebook's legal troubles to get up to date with all the happenings in that story.

The week didn't get any better for Facebook with the controversy surrounding pictures that remain accessible long after deletion. With over 250 million photos uploaded to Facebook every day, that's a lot of embarrassing photos sticking around even when you thought they were gone! Read this and other stats from Facebook's IPO documents.

Google made waves (no puns intended!) with news of two exciting new products doing the rounds. It looks set to launch a cloud storage offering of its own called Google Drive. Google Drive is expected to take on Dropbox, Apple's iCloud and Microsoft SkyDrive amongst other players in this space. Stories also emerged that Google is working on an unnamed 'entertainment device' and make a real entry into the consumer electronics space.

A product that did launch this week in the US for real was Nikon D800, The 36 Megapixel Monster. Watch out for the full review when the unit launches in India.

And finally, just as the week was drawing to a close, news emerged about Amazon's FDI proposal getting Indian Government's approval. Stay tuned next week for full analysis of this development.
