Initially launched alongside the Galaxy tab 10.1 in 2011, the Galaxy Tab 730 retailed for Rs. 33,900. The reduced price would surely attract buyers looking for a tablet that delivers in both form and function.
The 8.9-inch tablet runs on Android 3.0 and is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 2 dual-core processor hosting 1GB RAM. It also features a 3MP shooter at the back and a 2MP front facing camera.
The device comes with Samsung's proprietary TouchWiz UX interface and 16GB internal memory. Connectivity features include both 3G and Wi-Fi.
According to a survey conducted earlier this month by Voice&Data, Samsung continues to dominate the Indian tablet market with a 56.52% share. The latest addition to the Galaxy Tab series is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 310.
The Galaxy Tab 2 310 is the first Android 4.0 tablet from Samsung featuring a 1GHz dual-core processor, 3MP rear camera, VGA front camera and 1GB RAM.
It comes pre-loaded with company's Readers Hub, Game Hub, and My Movies services, which offer plenty of content to the consumers from e-books, games and full-length movies.
