The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition that will be rolled out in the US comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants with an additional 64GB of expandable storage available via microSD card. The tablet's Wi-Fi only 16GB model will retail for $549.99 (Rs. 34,000 approximately) while the 32GB variant will come for $599.99 (Rs. 37,000 approximately).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet comes in three connectivity options, apart from storage variants: Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi and 3G, Wi-Fi and LTE. However, the pricing and availability details of the Wi-Fi and 3G as well as Wi-Fi and LTE have not been revealed yet.
The South Korean major also announced that the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition will be up for pre-orders starting September 27 for the US market. However, there are no specific launch details of the Galaxy 10.1 2014 tablet for other markets including India are available, yet.
Samsung launched the latest member of the Galaxy Note tablet family in the form of Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition at the IFA earlier this month.
The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean-based tablet features a 10.1-inch WQXGA (2560X1600 pixel) Super clear LCD display. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it comes in two processor configurations across its three connectivity variants. The Wi-Fi only, and 3G + Wi-Fi variant is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor, while the Wi-Fi + LTE variant is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core processor. Both configurations feature 3GB of RAM, as well as an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and autofocus accompanied by an LED flash. There is also a 2-megapixel BSI sensor for the front camera. The tablet, like its predecessors, comes with S Pen stylus. The newly launched Galaxy Note 10.1 also comes pre-loaded with Samsung KNOX for enhanced security.
Recently, Samsung rolled out the Galaxy Note 3 in India for Rs. 49,900, alongside company's first wearable tech device, the Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which was launched for Rs. 22,990.
