The Samsung Galaxy J Max features a 7-inch (1280x800 pixels) WXGA TFT display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM. It comes with 8GB of built-in storage which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 200GB). The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based tablet supports dual-SIM and comes with 4G support. One of the biggest highlights of the tablet is it supports VoLTE (voice over LTE).
It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera. Other connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB. The Galaxy J Max measures 186.9x108.8x8.7mm and packs a 4000mAh battery.
Samsung on Friday also unveiled it's new Galaxy J2 (2016) smartphone priced at Rs. 9,750 and will go on sale from July 10. One of the biggest highlights of the new Galaxy J2 (2016) is its next-generation LED notification system which Samsung calls Smart Glow.
