launched in September, and will be the exclusive partner for the 8-inch
tablet as well.
The listing for the yet-to-be-launched Notion Ink
Cain 8 doesn't reveal all the specifications of the device, except that
it runs Windows 8.1 OS, features an 8-inch display and is powered by an
Intel processor. Other specifications of the Notion Ink Cain 8 tablet
visible on the listing include a SIM card slot (indicating 3G
connectivity), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, a Mini-HDMI port
and USB OTG connectivity.
Some freebies that the Notion Ink Cain 8
will come with are a 1TB cloud storage and a one-year subscription of
the Microsoft Office 365. The Snapdeal listing
of the Notion Ink Cain 8 tablet was

by Fonearena. Speaking with CEO Rohan Shravan, NDTV Gadgets has learnt
the company plans to launch the tablet in a couple of days.

September, the company
launched
the Notion Ink Cain tablet-cum-laptop hybrid at Rs. 19,990. The Notion
Ink Cain runs Windows 8.1 and features a 10.1-inch WXVGA (1280x800
pixels) IPS LCD display with 10-point multi-touch.
Powered by the
Intel Atom Z3735D (4 core, 4 threads, 1.33GHz base clock, up to 1.83GHz
burst, 2MB cache) processor, the Cain features integrated Intel HD
Graphics (up to 646MHz), and 2GB of DDR3L RAM. It also includes 32GB of
inbuilt storage along with an external storage option. The 7900mAh
battery on the device is said to deliver up to 7 hours of video playback
and 10 hours of Internet surfing.
