While one will run on an Intel processor, the other will feature a lower-powered ARM Nvidia Tegra processor. Sources close to the agency revealed that the later would have double the battery life of the Intel version. The expected pricing for the Intel version is about £1,199 or close to $1,880.

Asus is also working on similar Windows 8 tablets. While the first one Taichi is a dual-display Windows 8 laptop, the other one is company's detachable Windows 8 laptop Transformer Book. The company showed off these devices at Computex this year.
