Lenovo on Tuesday launched its Tab 2 A7-10 tablet in India at a budget price of Rs. 4,999 exclusively via Snapdeal, an e-commerce service. It is worth mentioning that the Chinese tech firm introduced the tablet at the last week's CES 2015 event. The tablet was launched alongside the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30, the availability and price details of which in India is yet to be known.
Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 features a 7-inch screen size with 1024x600pixel display resolution translating to a pixel density of 170ppi. The Android 4.4 KitKat running device is yet to be confirmed by the firm to be in-line for an Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
The tablet features a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 offers 8GB of inbuilt storage with an expansion option via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 completely misses a rear camera and features a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats. Lenovo is also touting Dolby sound technology. Measuring 189x105x9.3mm and weighing 269 grams, the Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 is backed by a 3450mAh battery and is available only in Ebony Black colour.
