The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 (seen above) will be available starting in June with Wi-Fi models starting at approximately $129, and $179 for the LTE models. The Lenovo Ideapad Miix 300 goes on sale starting in July at approximately $149.
The Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 features a 10.1-inch full-HD (1920x1080 pixel) IPS display with 10-point multi-touch. The tablet runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, with an Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade due in June. The Wi-Fi variant features a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MT8165 SoC, while the 4G LTE variant features a 64-bit 1.5GHz quad-core MT8732. It features 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The LTE variant features a single Micro-SIM. It bears a massive 7000mAh battery with up to 15.5 hours of battery life.
The Tab 2 A10-70 comes with 16GB of built-in storage that's expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). Onboard are an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera, and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus front facing camera. Connectivity options include dual-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + 5GHz 802.11a, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack. It weighs in at 509 grams, and measures 171x247x8.9mm. It comes with a multi-speaker sound bar, and comes in Pearl White and Midnight Blue colours. It comes with an optional keyboard folio case accessory with a removable keyboard.
On the other hand, the Lenovo Tab 2 A8 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, and comes with an 8-inch HD IPS display with 5-point multi-touch. The Wi-Fi variant is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek SoC, while the LTE variant features a 64-bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8735 SoC. It comes with 1GB of RAM, and a choice of 8GB and 16GB built-in storage, with storage expandability up to 32GB.
Connectivity options include dual-band 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + 5GHz 802.11a, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack. The Lenovo Tab 2 A8 features a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera, and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front facing camera. The 4G LTE version features dual-SIM card slots for Micro-SIM cards. Onboard is a 4290mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 8 hours of battery life. It weighs 360 grams, and measures 125x210x8.9mm. It comes in Pearl White, Ebony, Midnight Blue, and Neon Pink colours, and features stereo speakers.
Coming to the Lenovo Ideapad Miix 300 tablet running Windows 8.1 with Bing, we see it sports an 8-inch WUXGA (1280x800 pixel) IPS display, and a quad-core Intel Atom SoC (unspecified) with integrated graphics, 2GB of DDR3L RAM, 64GB of built-in storage that's expandable via microSD card (maximum storage unspecified), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and battery life up to 7 hours. It weighs 360 grams, and measures 130x215x9.3mm. It comes with 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365. While the tablet features rear and front cameras, Lenovo has not yet specified their resolution.
