Other features of this tablet include 1.2GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 2800 mAh battery and 3G dongle support. There is also 0.3 megapixel camera on board.
The company has shared that pre-booking of Lava E-Tab Z7H tablet is expected to start from August 4, 2012 and it will be officially available in the week after that.
When we quizzed Rai in regards to Jelly Bean upgrade for this tablet, he shared, "Google has shared the source code with us only on July 20, 2012 and we are working towards customising this tablet on the new operating system and looking forward to making the same available to our customers as early as possible."
Other Indian handsets makers such as Micromax and Karbonn have already launched their Ice Cream Sandwich tablets in the form of Micromax Funbook and Karbonn Smart Tab. Earlier in the month, even Zen Mobiles too joined the brigade by launching Zen Ultratab for Rs. 6,199.
Recently, Google had announced its entry into the tablet market through Nexus 7 tablet for $199. Though it is not clear what will be the Indian pricing for this tablet will be or by when can we expect the same but if launched it can give stiff competition to all the low-cost Indian tablets.
