Posted on Weibo by a user, the image has been labelled as "iPad Pro" with no further details about the tablet. The leaked image purportedly shows a mould for the rear panel of the Apple's alleged iPad Pro tablet expected to sport a large 12.2-inch or 12.9-inch display.
Macrumors points out, "The relatively simple design of the mould suggests this may be an unofficial mould being used create dummy units for manufacturers. Such units frequently, but not always, turn out to be accurately based on information leaking out of Apple's supply chain." Unfortunately, the image does not reveal much about the iPad Pro tablet.
Earlier this week, Apple's rumoured larger iPad was spotted in purported schematics, this time showing the device partially. The leaked schematics apart from showing the side of the larger iPad tablet showed speaker holes placed right next to the power button of the tablet. The leaked schematic indicated that Apple's next larger iPad tablet would come with stereo speakers near the power button, opening up the possibility the tablet will feature similar speakers on other sides as well.
Last month, another set of leaked schematics hinted about size, design and processor of the iPad Pro tablet. In the leaked schematics, the tablet was tipped to be named 'iPad Air Plus', following the naming scheme seen in the most recent generation of iPhone handsets - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The iPad Air Plus was said to release sometime between April and June 2015.
