The iPad Pro could launch as soon as next week. According to a new report, the company plans to begin selling its largest tablet and most powerful tablet from November 11. The retail price of the tablet starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 52,500). The India availability of the tablet hasn't been revealed yet.
Apple unveiled the iPad Pro at its mega iPhone event on September 9. At the time, the company didn't have an exact launch to share but noted that it would begin selling it in November in select regions such as the United States. 9to5Mac cites people familiar with the matter to say that November 11 could be the iPad Pro's launch date. The report also noted that the tablet's accessories, the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard, will release on the same day.
The iPad Pro sports a 12.9-inch display of a screen resolution of 2732x2048 pixels. It comes with the Apple A9X processor and 4GB of RAM. As per the company, the iPad Pro is faster than 80 percent of the mobile PCs shipped in the past year. The 32GB variant of the iPad Pro is priced at 799, with the highest variant - with LTE cellular connectivity - going up to $1,079 (roughly Rs. 70,700).
Coming to the accessories, the pressure-sensitive Apple Pencil is a stylus for the iPad Pro that is aimed at offering low latency and high accuracy. It is said to measure both pressure and tilt for a faster and more fluid drawing experience. It is priced at $99 (roughly Rs. 6,500). The Smart Keyboard is a slim foldable keyboard that is 4-mm thick, and can act as the cover of the iPad Pro as well. It is priced at $169 (roughly Rs. 11,100), and comes in Charcoal Grey colour.
