iBall has launched a brand new tablet called Slide Q9703. The high-end tablet boasts impressive specs like a 1.2GHz quad-core processor alongside octa-core GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable by another 32GB via microSD card.

iBall Slide Q9703 comes with a 9.7-inch QXGA HD IPS display that sports a resolution of 2048*1536 and 264ppi. The tablet also supports 4K video playback. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, as well as 3G dongle support. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera.

The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean running tablet is powered by a 8,000mAh battery.

"It's an era of larger screens and stunning displays. This tablet's ultra high resolution and retina panel on quad-core processor and an octa-core GPU is going to provide terrific performance and a stunning viewing experience to their proud owners, I'm sure," Mr Sandeep Parasrampuria, Director of iBall, said, commenting on the launch of the iBall Slide Q9703.

The tablet is being offered at a best buy price of Rs 15,999.

iBall Slide Q9703 bears near identical specs to the recently launched Zync Quad 10.1 tablet. The Zync tablet comes with a slightly inferior 10.1-inch display of 1920x1200 resolution, but the same 1.2GHz quad-core processor, octa-core GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 8,000mAh battery.
