To recall, the tablet was listed on the company site last week. The iBall Slide Co-Mate tablet features an 8-inch HD (1280x800 pixels) resolution IPS display with a pixel density of 188ppi. The dual-SIM tablet offers voice-calling support, and comes with built-in earpiece and receiver, removing the need for using a headset for voice calls. The tablet also comes with call recording feature and is preloaded with support for 21 regional languages.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and comes with 8GB of built-in storage. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). The Slide Co-Mate sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. On the connectivity front, the tablet supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.0, and Micro USB (with OTG support) connectivity. It is backed by a 4300mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 14 hours of talk time on 3G network. The tablet supports one micro and another regular SIM.
The company had recently launched the Slide Snap 4G2 tablet in India at Rs. 7,499. The biggest highlight of the iBall Slide Snap 4G2 tablet was it supported 4G LTE connectivity via SIM card.
