iBall, a tech firm based out of India, has launched two new tablets - namely the iBall Slide 3G 6095-Q700 and iBall Slide 3G 9017-D50. While the iBall Slide 3G 6095-Q700 is priced at Rs. 7,999 (MRP Rs. 9,099), the iBall Slide 3G 9017-D50 is priced at Rs. 9,120 (MRP Rs. 10,499). Both tablets are also listed on the company's site without availability details, but are already available via e-commerce sites.
Both the iBall Slide 3G 6095-Q700 and iBall Slide 3G 9017-D50 feature dual-SIM support and 3G connectivity (with voice and video calling functions). Both also feature 1GB of RAM, and run on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
The iBall Slide 3G 6095-Q700 (seen above) features a 6.9-inch screen with 1024x600 pixel resolution. An ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz powers the tablet. The device also houses a 5-megapixel rear and a VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera for video calls. Backed by a 2600mAh battery, the tablet bears 16GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
The larger iBall Slide 3G 9017-D50 (seen above) is a 9-inch tablet that bears the same resolution as the Slide 3G 6095-Q700 tablet. The tablet is powered by a Cortex-A7 dual-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. A 2-megapixel rear and a front camera is housed inside the tablet. Backed by a large 4000mAh battery, the tablet includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It measures 245x156x11mm and weighs 511 grams.
Wireless connectivity options common to both the iBall Slide 3G 6095-Q700 and Slide 3G 9017-D50 tablets include 3G, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Micro-USB and OTG connectivity options are also included.
iBall earlier this month launched its Slide 3G 6095-D20 voice-calling tablet at Rs. 7,299. The device also comes with a dual-SIM support and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.
