We can expect the Chinese company to announce the availability of the Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet soon.
Huawei can be expected to price its new MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet around the MediaPad M2 10.0 which was unveiled at CES earlier this year. The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 Wi-Fi with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage was priced at $349 (roughly Rs. 23,250) while the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 LTE model with similar configurations was announced at $399 (roughly Rs. 26,650).
Much like the MediaPad M2 10.0, the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet comes in different RAM and storage variants - one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, and another with the same configuration but including LTE support. The official site also lists others editions featuring 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
It features a 10.1-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and a pixel density of 224ppi. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 (MSM8939) processor (1.5GHz quad-core + 1.2GHz quad-core). The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet runs Emotion UI 3.1. It sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. There is a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera as well. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 4G LTE (optional). The Chinese company adds that the tablet can support download speeds of up to 150Mbps on 4G network while it can touch 433Mbps on Wi-Fi connection. The tablet is backed by a large 6660mAh battery. The official site says that the MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro tablet will be available in Pearl White and Charcoal Black colours. It measures 259.1x156.4x8.5mm and weighs 495 grams.
