Huawei has announced a global release of its Honor T1 tablet, which went on sale via an e-commerce website in Malaysia in late-September. The tablet will be available in markets later this month at a EUR 130 price tag.
As per the official Huawei Honor T1 page, the voice-calling tablet runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with Emotion UI 1.6 skinned on top. It features an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and 188 pixels per inch (ppi) density.
The Honor T1 tablet features a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The primary camera on the tablet is a 5-megapixel shooter (no flash) and there is a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera for video calls.
The tablet packs internal storage of 8GB which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Connectivity options on the Huawei Honor T1 include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS and 3G, apart from voice calling.
Huawei Honor T1 measures 210.6x127.7x7.9mm and weighs 360 grams. The 4800mAh battery on the tablet is rated to deliver up to 300 hours of standby time.
Huawei earlier this month launched its Ascend P7 in India at Rs. 24,799. It's a single-SIM phone that runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with company's Emotion UI 2.3 skin on top. The Huawei Ascend P7 is powered by 1.8GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910T processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features a 5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) INCELL display. The smartphone includes 16GB of inbuilt storage.
Some other specifications include 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2500mAh battery.
