HP has announced the launch of two Tegra 4-powered Android-based products in India in the form of HP SlateBook x2 convertible and HP Slate all-in-one.
The HP SlateBook x2 is a 10.1-inch (1920x1200 display resolution) Android tablet that turns into a notebook thanks to the bundled base unit that includes a keyboard, battery and additional ports. It is powered by a 1.80GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor alongside 2GB RAM and 64GB SSD storage.
HP SlateBook x2 includes rear and front cameras that are capable of recording 1080p and 720p videos respectively. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an audio jack, 1xUSB 2.0 port, 1 SD card slot and a HDMI port.
HP SlateBook x2 runs Android 4.2.2 and will be available in India starting first week of August for Rs. 39,990.The HP Slate is an all-in-one that comes with a reclinable 21.5-inch full-HD (1920x1080) display with wide video angles designed for the whole family to gather around the device that aims to be an entertainment hub. It is powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and comes with 8GB internal storage, 3xUSB 2.0 ports, and a SD card reader. Other specifications of the device aren't available at this time.
HP Slate runs Android 4.2 and will be available in India starting August 15 for a price of Rs. 24,990.
