HRD minister Kapil Sibal launched the much awaited tablet for the educational institutes today. At $50, the device will get the job done with a 7-inch resistive touchscreen, 256MB RAM, 2GB Flash memory and a 2GB microSD card. It also has a dedicated card to process 1080p videos. What's missing - a camera, loud speaker and micro USB connectivity. This is how the Aakash compares to other tablets, including the mighty iPad.
