Dell on Thursday added its latest device in the Venue 7 range of tablets in India by launching the Dell Venue 7 3741. The budget voice-calling tablet is available to buy across India and is priced at Rs. 7,999. As per the firm, the tablet offers "solid performance in a sleek and affordable package."
The single-SIM supporting Dell Venue 7 3741 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. The Venue 7 3741 sports a 6.95-inch HD (1024x600 pixels) resolution display and runs on Intel Atom Processor Z3735G (four cores, four threads, 2MB cache, base frequency 1.3GHz, burst frequency 1.8GHz), clubbed with 1GB of DDR3L RAM.
The tablet houses a 2-megapixel rear camera as well as a 0.3-megapixel (VGA resolution) front-facing camera for video chats. The Dell Venue 7 3741 also equips 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB). Also on board are 3G, Micro-USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The tablet is backed by a 4100mAh battery and weighs 315 grams.
