Asus has made its Transformer Pad TF502T official by listing it on a product page for its Taiwanese website. Though no date was mentioned, it is expected to be officially launched at the
Mobile World Congress event, scheduled for early-February.
The price for the Transformer Pad TF502T was also not listed by
Asus, however, specifications have been detailed, which as Android Authority
notes, peg it as the Android-variant of the Windows RT-powered TF600T (currently retailing for $299.99, or roughly Rs. 18,400) in terms of hardware.
The Asus Transformer Pad TF502T will unfortunately sport Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, despite the fact that it has started rolling out Android 4.3 to its other devices. Given the expected launch date, an Android 4.4 Kitkat version would not have been too much to expect.

The Transformer Pad TF502T is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM. A front-facing 2-megapixel camera is supported by the tablet for video calls along with an f/2.2 8-megapixel rear camera with flash.
The tablet will arrive with 32GB and 64GB in-built storage options, with microSD card slot expandability. Connectivity options of the tablet include support for Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V4.0 and NFC.
