Apple today announced that new iPad will be reaching India on April 27. This iPad 2 successor will be priced starting Rs. 30,500.
Originally announced on March 7, Apple's new iPad includes much-talked about Retina display with 2048x1536p resolution. Among other features, iPad comes with a dual-core Apple A5X processor with quad-core graphics, 5MP camera, and 10-hours of battery-life.
The new iPad will be available in a choice of black or white, with the Wi-Fi models retailing for Rs. 30500 (16GB), Rs. 36500 (32GB), and Rs. 42500 (64GB), while the Wi-Fi+4G models will be sold for Rs. 38900 (16GB), Rs. 44900 (32GB), and Rs. 50900 (64GB).
Company has
already reduced the iPad 2 pricing in India and it is now available starting Rs. 24,500.
Apart from India, other countries getting the iPad on April 27 are Colombia, Estonia, Israel, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, South Africa and Thailand.
Twelve countries - Brunei, Croatia, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Malaysia, Panama, South Korea, St Maarten, Uruguay and Venezuela - will receive the new iPad a week earlier, on April 20.
