The Wi-Fi variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) is first receiving the update, but it further expected to reach 3G and LTE models soon.
According a report in Sammobile, the update brings faster performance, wireless printing support, full screen album, new camera shortcut, white status bar icons, enhanced sound controls, default home and SMS apps and general stability improvements.
Users can also manually check for the update by going in to Settings > General >About phone>Software updates.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) features a 10.1-inch WQXGA (2560X1600) Super clear LCD display. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, it comes in two chipset variants. The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition in India is powered by a 1.9GHz quad-core Exynos 5 Octa processor. There is 3GB of RAM and the tablet comes with 16GB built-in storage options. It sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor and autofocus accompanied by an LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel BSI sensor.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) packs massive 8220mAh battery to support its large screen. It comes preloaded with Samsung KNOX for enhanced security. Connectivity options on the tablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct and AllShareCast, as well as 3G/ LTE.
