The company claims TabGuru is the first company to offer such offline education on a tablet personal computer. The product is available in 7-inch and 10-inch screens and uses the Android operating system.
The 7-inch Alpha Edu-I is priced at Rs. 9,999 and the 10-inch Alpha Edu-II is priced at Rs. 14,999.
The company said the pre-loaded content in the tablet is a mix of animation and video across different educational boards.
"There are many good e-learning contents available for ICSE and CBSE boards, but lack of investment in computer and low Internet penetration has resulted in these not reaching the masses.
"With this launch, we are confident of offering an innovative way of delivering content to our target consumers," Alphabetics Computer Chairman and Managing Director Pankaj Kurulkar said.
