Founded in Beijing in 1984, Lenovo acquired IBM's PC business in 2005, and first became the world's top PC maker in 2013. It entered the Android and Windows tablet market in 2011, began selling Android smartphones in 2012, and acquired Motorola Mobility from Google in 2014. The company has also launched an online-only sub-brand for smartphones called Zuk in China.

Lenovo's latest mobile launch is the Idea Tab Pro. The tablet was launched in 14th March 2025. The tablet comes with a 12.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1840 pixels by 2944 pixels at a PPI of 273 pixels per inch.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro is powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8300 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The tablet packs 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro runs Android 14 and is powered by a 10200mAh. It measures 189.10 x 291.80 x 6.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 615.00 grams.

Connectivity options include USB Type-C, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer, Compass Magnetometer, Fingerprint sensor, Gyroscope and Proximity sensor.
