The Sony LinkBuds S is the latest in the company's true wireless lineup, and sits just below the flagship WF-1000XM4 in terms of pricing and positioning. With support for the LDAC Bluetooth codec and active noise cancellation, the headset promises premium-grade performance while remaining slightly more affordable than the true flagship options from not just Sony, but also brands such as Samsung, Sennheiser, and Apple.

Sound quality is good, and the sonic signature is comfortable one. However, the Sony WF-LS900N headset doesn't deliver anything special beyond its expected competence, although this can be a good thing as well given the comfort and form factor the earphones offer.
