Absolutely loving this product. Sony is Sony. They?ll never disappoint you.For some reason, I expected the surround sound to travel smoothly but I guess that happens in Dolby Atmos unless I?m missing on some settings.But over all very very happy with the product output.

The sound quality in the the product is too good.The demo and installation service was also top class.

Very good sound quality and wireless rear speakers adds to the overall experience of the speakers. The bass is good and can be controlled from the remote. For best experience it is advised to use the optical cable to connect with TV.

This 5.1 Home Theater Soundbar System consists of a soundbar, a powerful subwoofer, and a wireless receiver connected to two more surround speakers, to be placed behind you. The Sub has a USB input, so you can play music from a flash drive, and it also has Bluetooth, so you can pair to a phone and play music from the phone.Here are my thoughts so far:-SETUP: Setup was fairly easy. The box contains: the soundbar, subwoofer, wireless amplifier (the square thing), two surround speakers, remote and batteries, two power cords, one HDMI cable, and instruction manuals. Setup consisted of connecting the power cables to the sub and amplifier, connecting the HDMI cable to an HDMI output on TV with ARC, and plugging in the color coded speaker cables to the sub and amplifier. Then power everything up and it worked right away.(*Note ? if you don't have an HDMI output with ARC, then you can use an optical cable connectiontoo. There is no optical cable included however. Technically you can also connect to a TV through bluetooth, but I haven't tried that with my TV yet. The TV needs to support the A2DP bluetooth profile for that to work.)The main Sub is about 15? tall, by 7.5? wide, by 14? deep, so make sure you have enough room for it. The power cord is fairly short, at about 4 ? 5 feet, so keep that in mind when deciding where to place it.The surround speakers are each about 7? tall.SOUND: A huge improvement over the built-in TV speakers. We have loved watching movies with a much more powerful, immersive sound. It gets very loud, we probably won't ever get to the max volume, as it is way too loud before that. No complaints as far as the sound quality, although I do wish it had 3D Surround Dolby Atmos/DTS-X support.OTHER: I have tried playing music from a USB Flash drive, and also playing it from my phone with a bluetooth connection. To use USB, just plug the flash drive into the front of the Sub, and press the ?Input? button on the remote until the little screen on the sub shows ?USB?. It will take a couple seconds to read the files, then you can pause, play or skip tracks through the remote. To pair to a phone via bluetooth, just press and hold the BT button on the Sub for a few seconds until it enters pairing mode, then it should show up on your phone as a device you can pair to as ?HT-S40R?. Apparently you can pair to as many as 9 mobile devices, per the instructions.We have also used the ?Night? mode when watching movies while people are sleeping, and it seems to work well enough to keep the bass down and still allow us to hear clearly.OVERALL:So far we've been happy with this speaker system. It is a huge improvement over the regular built-in TV speakers, and also a decent option for playing music from a phone. It is probably not the best soundbar surround system that I've ever heard, but it sounds very good for this price range. My biggest complaint so far is that it doesn't have 3D Surround Dolby Atmos/DTS-X support, but otherwise we have enjoyed using it!

Awesome product. Good Sound Quality

This is a good soundbar system for the price. I recently had a Vizio and the highs are a tad better. There are quite a few mid-tones and sometimes it can be hard to hear the dialogue. I do enjoy the connectivity from HDMI-ARC.
