Following a
short disruption on Friday, micro-blogging social network
Twitter appears to be once again facing issues on Monday.
When visiting the site, users were greeted with the message "Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing - we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."
The outages appears to have been brief however, with intermittent reports in India spread from 6:50pm IST seemingly fixed by 8:05pm IST. The crowd-sourced Down Detector service on its Twitter status page notes that reports for the disruption globally began after 6pm IST.
The service has been experiencing several disruptions over the past few months, with other recently reported outages on December 31, January 2, and January 15.
While the service appears to be back online across the world, if you are still experiencing problems, do let us know via the comments below.
Update: Twitter
acknowledged the issue on its status page, claiming a 10-minute window for the problem. "Between 6:23am and 6:33am PST (7:53pm to 8:03pm IST) some users were experiencing issues accessing Twitter via mobile and web. This issue has now been resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience," the company said.
