The saying goes for the product as well. You may get a tab from cheaper brands with similar specs but the similarities end as soon as you start using them. It is the hardware integration and the software customizations done by Samsung which makes all the difference to your tablet experience. Evey day I use my Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 I am reminded of the money well spent and the frustrations saved. Design and form: The tab optimizes screen space by having a slim bezel and 16:10 screen format which makes it slightly less wide and more manageable than other 8 inch android alternatives available currently. Also most android apps are customized for this screen format and not the 4:3 format being offered by cheaper 8 inch tabs. After holding the tab in one hand for an hour Its 316g weight becomes an obvious advantage against 400g something. Screen: At 189ppi its screen is much better than mini's 160ppi. Although on this day and date a retina display would have been more appropriate. Initially didn't think it makes much of a difference but it does. A higher resolution screen can be held closer to the eye and makes it easy to read finer text with much less strain. Even at 189ppi pixilization is apparent but not as much as at 160ppi. Performance: The hardware/software integration shines here. Despite having a dual core processor it easily outpaces cheaper quad core tabs.Decent RAM and internal memory helps a lot. The Samsung UI is silky smooth though apps do crash sometimes. Battery: This is the star of the show and can go on for a whole day. Really the strongest point of this tab. There are a lot of useful features like a split keyboard, multi window, S Voice, GLONASS (which helps triangulate your position much faster than GPS) etc. Things that make the Samsung experience worthwhile. Alternatives: The only real android alternatives to Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 are yet to arrive in India. They are the Nexus 7 (2013) and LG G Pad 8.3.

I bought this tab like 3 months ago and I can this is one of the best tab in market. Superb screen display. Battery goes on for almost a whole day. Net surfing is quite fast. I read a lot of reviews on amazon, flipkart and many other shopping sites but let me tell you that you get what you pay for.Pros:-Amazing battery lifeGood screen displaySperthin so easy to handleAudio is quite decentBrowsing is fastCamera quality is niceMulti tasking is convenientApps work smoothlyCons:-Wrong positioning of speakersNo stylus, case or speakers given in the boxOverall a great tab brought out by Samsung. I ordered this tablet in amazon Sold by UniverCell. They delivered to my destination (via courier service) which is a pure village near Mannargudi. Surprised and happy to see the prompt delivery. Received tablet in good condition and worked well. Exploring more options these days using the sim card option. I put the airtel sim in this tablet and it worked good with 2G connection (good for emails ,surfing, chatting etc not enough speed for videos/video calling)since 3G is not yet available in my area. skype worked in it. Tethering is not successful yet (still trying) with my desktop.Small and easy in hand. Decent battery. Not using for calls but using only in 2G data or Wifi. Unable to find options yet for multiple user accounts in the tab yet.Over all satisfied with the purchase. I bought this tablet since Surface RT is not available yet in India. Thanks amazon/univercell for prompt service and delivery.Thinking of buying one more for my mom.

This is an excellent product from Samsung with good processor speed of 1.5 ghz and 1.5 gb RAM. The display is also great. Overall a fun to use and good buy at this price. The two day delivery of Amazon was also lighting fast and was practically one day only.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.0 T311 8" is a super voice calling tab, rather I consider it a Samsung Galaxy Series 8" Phone with Super Clear LCD (its way better than regular TFT LCD) and thin bezel. This tab has very good hardware specification with 16GB internal memory and 1.5GB RAM. It's dual core processor is way faster than so called quad core processors. I highly recommend this Godzilla Phone Tab.

worth the money spent

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is a good improvement over the previous model and is a well balanced package! Good specs...great screen...good performance overall!

Awesome, what i want to call this tab. On price side it looks a bit higher, but when you buy this device, and use it , u will simply fall in love with samsung tab 3 8 inch. I bought it just some days after launch of tab 4. when compared to tab 4 it looks much better, with more sensors, good camera, great sound, this device simply looks better than tab 4, but yes its not quad core like tab 4, whatsoever it hardly feels its dual core when you use it, hardly it hangs, hardly any lag. In nutshell, a great product.

One of the best tablet in the market in very cost-effective MRP. The resolution is wonderful. Games run very smoothly without getting interrupted. Both the cameras work perfectly and that's why this tablet is a step ahead than all the other tablets in the market. It almost works like Samsung Tablet Note series just that it doesn't endorse stylus along with it. Internet runs very smoothly. Definitely go for this tablet.

good tab with good features. thanks to amazon guys, though mentioned it would be delivered in a week it was delivered in three days. speaking about tablet the battery is very good. for my usage i stands for more than one day( i don't play games ). it doesnt hang. the camera quality is very good. the speed of tablet is highly commended. so i would recommend any one to buy this. its a best one in the 25k range.

This is a fun-filled tab. I am a novice user recently purchased it after looking at the reviews at different websites. As I am using the tablet, I advice you to buy it. The price is very high for the specifications it provides but worth buying it. I did not face any problems so far. It takes up to 6 hrs for a total charge but the backup it gives is very good.

It is more than 2 weeks from now I have been using this device (Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0) and I am very pleased to say that It is the top notch product I have ever purchased in my life. Its build quality (even though plastic), its design, tasks carried out by it (tackling) is very appreciable. Tab 2 p3100 was a nice tab as well but tab 3 has increased throughput in a positive manner. i suggest if anyone wish to purchase a above mid range tablet, it is the best option at this moment right now.
