Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) is one of the latest smartphones to be a part of Samsung’s Galaxy A-series. It also happens to be the first smartphone from the Korean giant to sport a triple camera setup at the back. We would expect a phone from the Galaxy S series or Note series to be the first to get new high-end features, so it’s quite surprising to see an A-series model getting such attention. That's not all, Samsung also launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) recently, which is the first smartphone in the world to sport a quad-camera setup at the back. While this might slightly dampen the buzz around the Galaxy A7 (2018), are its three cameras versatile enough to give it an edge over the competition in its price segment? The Galaxy A7 (2018) is the first smartphone from Samsung phone with a triple camera setup. The camera setup consists of a 24-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. It sports a 6-inch Super Amoled display with FHD+ resolution. The phone is powered by an Exynos 7885 processor and has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It sports a 24-megapixel selfie camera with a selfie fill light. The Galaxy A7 (2018) is a dual SIM device and has support for 4G and VoLTE on both SIM slots. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with Samsung Experience UI on top. It has a 3300mAh battery.

I was getting fed up of the constant low quality of voice calls and network issues and software upgrades. I decided to switch to an Android phone and chose Samsung A7 after speaking to the sales person. And boy, am I pleased at having switched over.... I am over the moon with the quality of the phone, the amazing picture quality, the voice clarity and the speed and storage capacity of the A7. Would recommend this to everyone who can afford it. Don't spend any more money on the costly Iphones. They are really not worth it. This one is real value for money. I spent only 20% on what I would spend on the Iphone 10.Is this review helpful?

Awesome PhoneAnup Gupta (Jan 2, 2019) on Gadgets 360 RecommendsI am a fan of Samsung A series phone. I had a Samsung A5 - and held it for full 4 years and now have changed to A7. Its just a super phone. The fingerprint security is just awesome and fast. Infact my earlier A5 was given to my daughter and she is thrilled with it. It works just as well - just the android version is 6....else - everything else if still super..Is this review helpful?
