Its a great product, very powerful. When I switched on the purifier, it sensed the air in my living room and thankfully it was healthy, its LED indicator turned blue in color. What I liked the most about Samsung Air Purifier is the moment its sensors sense any stale air or germs, its LED indicator quickly turns red and hunts down the germs and bacterias and then again purifies the air to its optimum and starts flashing the blue LED in the sensors panel. Am a happy user, thanks to Samsung and Flipkart.

Brilliant product. A must have if you are suffering due to air pollution, construction dust or pollen related causes. Good blower speed and cleans room air effectively and quickly. The sensor is amply sensitive to changes and does its job satisfactorily. Operation noise is low and sleep mode is also available. Overall I was satisfied with the product performance and results.

I am happy with the product, its working excellent. I think if the same product will come up with smart controls which can be operated through mobile then it will be unbeatable, right now it is manually controlled and no timer to control on/off, So little hassle specially in winter season.

At this price, AX3000 offers excellent value. Build quality is superb everything - from the pre-filter to the back plate- is a perfect fit. The carbon filter and HEPA filter are top notch. Samsung has provided proper indentation on the sides to lift the unit. Moving the unit around is effortless. Installation is very easy and simple. All you need to do is remove the back plate for accessing the filters and place them back (at the same spot from where you removed them) after unwrapping the neat and quality packaging. The entire process takes about 5 minutes. There are no screws to open, no springs to unwind and no hinges to grapple. Such simplicity does underwhelm you, but only until you power on the unit and hear the start-up beeps/tings and glance at the colourful display of the LED. Powering on the unit requires a feather tap with your finger on the touch sensitive power up icon thankfully, there are no conventional buttons to press. AX3000 greets you with a nice tune that plays on each power up. Changing modes with a similar tap on the next square icon only results in a beeping sound. There are four modes to choose depending upon your requirement: (i) Auto (ii) High (ii) Medium and (iv) Sleep. Air quality is conveyed through a horizontal colour coded LED right above the power up and change mode icons. Red indicates unhealthy, yellow for better, green for good and light blue for best. There is no LCD to display numeric values. When in Auto mode, the unit constantly varies the fan speed according to the air quality. The fan noise is loud whenever the unit is operating at maximum power however, it is whisper quiet when the air quality is good or when sleep mode is selected. You will barely notice it working in these modes. Those searching for Wi-Fi connectivity or Auto-off function will have to look elsewhere. Samsung has not included these features in the AX3000. Auto-off would be nice however, it is not a big miss. Once in sleep mode, you can leave the unit on for hours. There is hardly a need to turn it off. Gimmicks such as Wi-Fi are extravagant and their utility doubtful. Wi-Fi provides appreciable utility in select few scenarios at best. The dust and gas sensors are highly receptive to the slightest change in environment. The LED quickly shifts from blue to red when you open the door or windows or when someone enters the room. It takes the unit a few minutes to purify the air again and the LED shifts back to blue. Samsung recommends to clean the sensors once every 6 months with a cotton swab to maintain prime condition. To reach the sensors you need to remove the back plate. The AX3000 is a fairly powerful unit. It takes about 10-15 minutes for it to ensure optimum air quality in a standard sized room. The unit's high purification capacity means that it will be adequate for majority of the users. In my opinion, it will work effectively in a larger room provided it is operated at maximum capacity. The carbon and HEPA filter ensure that all particles PM2.5 and odours are trapped. The unit provides odourless and fresh air, which is circulated through the air vents on the top. The mild draught created as a result can be felt in the room. However, it is no more than that created by a ceiling fan at low speed. Samsung clearly warns that the unit is effective enough to trap grime, rancid odours, incense smoke and cooking aromas. Use in such conditions affects the filter?s performance and remaining life. Hence, it is best to ventilate the room before turning on the unit. The only concern I had with the design is that the air is drawn from the back, which could potentially affect the purification capacity when placed next to a wall. Samsung recommends at least 5-15 cms gap. I can tell you that the unit works very well at a distance of one feet from the wall. If you can provide a greater gap, go for it to reap better results. I reckon that the filters should last at least a year during normal use - 8 to 12 hours a day. Replacement filter is available for INR 3000/-. The replacement cost is acceptable considering that the initial investment is much lower in comparison to others. At a maximum electricity consumption of 34 watts, the overall lifetime costs will appease the budget conscious. The price is the biggest advantage. At an MRP of 24000/-, it would be hard to recommend this product due to better alternatives. However, at INR 9990/- - a flat 60% discount on the MRP - it is exceptional value. The Samsung AX3000 lacks some of the more modern features found in other brands instead it provides an ergonomic and versatile design, easy manoeuvrability, high-grade filters, good capacity and builds a "turn-on and leave" confidence. It will meet the requirements of most users and includes a one-year warranty from Samsung. Those on the hunt for a mid-capacity purifier should definitely give this one a look.
