  • Best Tv in the market at present for reasons mentioned.
Gaurav Sharma (Jun 3, 2018) on Amazon
It was a store purchase. Got much lower price and interest free emi from store thats why bought it from from a retail store. My 40 LCD was taking its last breathes and was told it will blow may be in a month 3 months or 6 months but its gonna go so started looking for a replacement.Saw tvs for a month and narrowed down to LG OLED and Samsung QLED. Sony 94 series was a far third in image quality.Spend close to a month to figure out what are important things in a tv.Here is what i learnt1. Nits ( Unit of brightness) QLED = 1500 nites great for day time watching and contrasts . OLED 800 nits2. Color reproduction. QLED reproduced 99.9% of the colors accurately again a win for QLED3. UPSCALING : Most content still in FHD or less and Samsung scaled it up much better than LG particularly for DTH.4. Image Burn issue with OLEDs while samsung gives 10 year warranty on image burn risk which is anyways minimal.5. One connect was a great thing for not fiddling behind tv6. TV is literally flush with the wall.7. The red saree clad demo video was played simultaneously on QLED and OLED and the QLED showed many more shades of red while oled showed just one. That literally clinched it in favor of QLEDBought it on Gudi Padwa. The Samsung staff that came to install was pathetic( one start deducted for this). Told them to get out and called the Reliance Digital people to install.IT is an amazing TV. You have to watch pristine content to really enjoy the tv. It would be like standing in the middle of the action.Highly recommended. No risk of image burn.. Amazing upscaling.. you cant tell its FHD content and not 4k.IF you buy the 2018 model now you will love it even more as now the TV has become full array led in place of bottom lit.
