I was looking for washing machine as my 16 years old LG 6 kg waser started making some noise in spin. Since I already spent Rs11000 to service twice during past two years, decided to take the option of exchange. Even though you get very small amount as exchange, you will not like to keep two washing machines occupying so much space. After delivery I was shocked to see the samsung 6kg drum size, it is exactly 50% less volume than my old LG 6kg. I was puzzled and still not having any answer for 50% less drum volume for the same 6kg. Now we can not accommodate the blankets we used to wash using old 6kg washing machine. I suggest physically see the washing machine volume before purchase. Current samsung 6kg is suitable for 3 adults with wash cycle of once in two days. Coming to good part, It is ultra silent, not able to hear or feel any belt movement or sound. Even at spin speed of 400rpm, it is unbelievably noiseless. We always use maximum of 400rpm. Since this machine motor is inverter type, I connected my solar inverter and I am surprised to see the power drawn is in the range of 100 to 200watts. Not measured by instrument, just seen the inverter display. You can run this machine using UPS or inverter if required. Ensure that your UPS is pure sine wave output type. I am completely satisfied with this purchase as it will save electricity bill by washing through my offline solar inverter.
