2012 Models 5 series lacks some useful features : No Ultra Clear Pannel, No Portable media ready
Avinash Kantheti (Jul 1, 2012)
on Flipkart
=============================================================
Pros :
- Free WI-Fi dongle
- One Design : Slim LED and Narrow Bezel
- SMART TV
=============================================================
Cons :
- No Ultra Clear Panel. In 2011 models ( high-end model in 5 series : UA40D5900VR ) has this feature, for 2012 models this feature is seen from 7 series. A New model means new features might have been added but doesn't remove the existing required features. Colors won't appear natural some times
- No Portable Media Ready, recording a program to a USB device/HDD ( under 5 series, ES 5500 model has portable ready, not marketed in India ). Starts from 6 series

One more general thing - smart TV usage
- Using the On screen keyboard QWERTY Layout with remote control, irritated when using it. Moving the selection with arrow keys (left, right, up, down) and pressing enter to type. Instead they would have used the number keypad for texting, like the wise we use on mobile
