Redmi A5 mobile was launched on 15th April 2025. The phone comes with a 120 Hz refresh rate 6.88-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 720x1640 pixels (HD+) at a pixel density of 260 pixels per inch (ppi). Redmi A5 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T7250 processor. It comes with 3GB, 4GB of RAM. The Redmi A5 runs Android 15 Go Edition and is powered by a 5200mAh non-removable battery. The Redmi A5 supports 15W Fast Charging fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Redmi A5 on the rear packs a 32-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

Redmi A5 is based on Android 15 Go Edition and packs 64GB, 128GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 2000GB). The Redmi A5 is a dual-SIM (GSM + CDMA and GSM + CDMA) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Redmi A5 measures 171.70 x 77.80 x 8.26mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 193.00 grams. It was launched in Jaisalmer Gold, Just Black, and Pondicherry Blue colours. It features an IP52 rating for dust and water protection.

Connectivity options on the Redmi A5 include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.20, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
