The Realme GT Master Edition seems to offer everything that anyone could ask for in a mid-range smartphone. It has a high-quality Super AMOLED display, a new processor, and a battery that charges up from zero to 100 percent in about 35 minutes. It's got slightly better hardware than the OnePlus Nord 2, so it might be an interesting alternative within the same price segment. Then, there's the recently launched Motorola Edge 20, which is priced a few thousand Rupees higher, but offers a lot more in terms of hardware plus near-stock software, in a slim and sleek package. The GT Master Edition is the most affordable of these three, but will that give it enough of an edge?

The mid-range smartphone market is becoming more crowded and Realme’s GT Master Edition is a quality offering at a competitive price with a unique suitcase-like design. Meant to replace the X series of smartphones, the GT series is a new lineup from Realme, and the GT Master Edition packs a punch. There’s a high-quality 120Hz Super AMOLED display which is good for gaming and watching movies on. There aren’t stereo speakers but you do get a 3.5mm headphone jack. Powering the gaming experience is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, which is a worthy upgrade over the 768G and is on par with MediaTek’s Dimensity 1200. Camera performance is quite good in daylight but is only saved by the Night mode in low light. Battery life is quite good for a slim mid-range smartphone and charging is quite fast, going from zero to 100 percent in about 35 minutes.

GT master edition real user reviewHimanshu Rawat (Feb 22, 2022) on Gadgets 360Not worth buying.very poor performance and quality.only 2 months old and I am getting battery sign network sign and other marks on screen while watching other videos or anything.I have thrown my money in shithole.Dont buy this phone because of design or processor because the processor is not giving u 60 fps frame rate in pubg lite at any graphic settings.While u get those settings and better experience and performance on other phones at this price range even at low price range.I m strongly advised u to not buy this phone otherwise u wil be sorry like me.Is this review helpful?
