Realme's audio range in India is now largely comprised of true wireless earphones, but the company does have some interesting options beyond that, including wired and wireless earphones, and even portable speakers. The recently launched Realme Buds Wireless 2, which I'm reviewing here, is a wireless neckband-style headset that offers premium features at a very competitive price. Above all, this new headset promises audio quality that matches up to premium standards, while keeping the price firmly in the budget range.
The Realme Buds Wireless 2 sport the traditional neckband design, and feel a bit dated when compared to the newer and more popular true wireless form factor. However, the headset is well equipped, with active noise cancellation and support for the LDAC Bluetooth codec. Furthermore, a punchy, low-end biased sonic signature makes this the ideal headset for bass fans.
Although battery life is average and the cables from the earpieces to the neckband are a bit irritating, the Realme Buds Wireless 2 offers excellent value for money, with good features and sound quality.
